Fördervorhaben: "Bildung - Nachhaltigkeit - Kommune: BNE-Kompetenzzentrum für Prozessbegleitung und Prozessevaluation" (BiNaKom); Teilprojekt "BiNaKom UFZ mit Schwerpunkt auf der qualitativen formativen Evaluation"

Abstract

Das Teilprojekt "BiNaKom UFZ mit Schwerpunkt auf der qualitativen formativen Evaluation" im Fördervorhaben "Bildung – Nachhaltigkeit – Kommune: BNE-Kompetenzzentrum für Prozessbegleitung und Prozessevaluation" wurde über einen Zeitraum von fünf Jahren in zwei Förderphasen (2020 – 2023/ 2023 – 2025) durchgeführt. Zentrale Ziele waren die strukturelle Verankerung von Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE) in Modellkommunen, sowie der Wissenstransfer für die Zielgruppe (aller) Kommunen. Kern des Teilprojekts war die qualitative formative Evaluation von 15 ausgewählten Modellkommunen, die in den beiden Förderphasen geleistet wurde. Das UFZ hat sich mit Beiträgen an den Großveranstaltungen des Projekts (Herbstkonferenzen) und am Praxishandbuch beteiligt. Durch das UFZ wurden über die Mitwirkung an Interkommunalen Qualifizierungen und Lernräumen außerdem Erkenntnisse direkt den Kommunen zur Verfügung gestellt. Weitere Schwerpunkte des Wissenstransfers waren umfangreiche Inhalte auf der Website, wie Grundlagen- und Handlungsfeldtexte sowie Kurzmitteilungen, in denen die wesentlichen Ergebnisse der formativen Evaluation dargestellt wurden. Des Weiteren wurden Ergebnisse der Evaluation in mehreren Fachpublikationen in Zeitschriften in den Fachdiskurs eingespeist und so zu Erkenntnisgewinnen im Feld der BNE-Forschung beigetragen. Da die "Fachstelle Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung in Kommunen" (Fabinek) die wesentlichen Inhalte der Website von BiNaKom übernimmt, wird der Nutzen der wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse auch über die Projektlaufzeit hinaus gesichert. The sub-project "BiNaKom UFZ with a focus on qualitative formative evaluation" in the funding project "Education - Sustainability - Municipality: ESD Competence Centre for Process Support and Process Evaluation" was carried out over a period of five years in two funding phases (2020 - 2023/ 2023 - 2025). The central objectives were the structural implementation of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in model municipalities and the transfer of knowledge for the target group of (all) municipalities. The core of the sub-project was the qualitative formative evaluation of 15 selected model municipalities, which was carried out during the two funding phases. The UFZ contributed to the project's major events (autumn conferences) and the practice handbook. The UFZ also made findings directly available to the municipalities through its involvement in inter-municipal qualifications and learning spaces. Other focal points of the knowledge transfer were extensive content on the website, such as basic and action field texts as well as short texts in which the main results of the formative evaluation were presented. In addition, the results of the evaluation were fed into the scientific discourses in several publications in journals, thus contributing to knowledge gains in the field of ESD research. As the "Centre for Education for Sustainable Development in Local Authorities" (Fabinek) is responsible for the main content of the BiNaKom website, the benefits of the scientific findings for municipalities will be secured beyond the project duration.
