INNOspace-Netzwerk Space2Health - Raumfahrt und Gesundheit - Phase 1

Abstract

Das Netzwerk umfasst 167 Akteure sowie 40 assoziierte Teilnehmende aus den Branchen Raumfahrt und Gesundheit. Die Mitglieder verteilen sich wie folgt: 21 % der Netzwerkmitglieder sind im Bereich Space tätig, 61 % sind Health zuzuordnen, etwa 8 % sind bereits in beiden Branchen aktiv. Es fanden 23 Arbeitsgruppentreffen bei Netzwerkmitgliedern bzw. als virtuelle Meetings statt. Zudem wurden zwei INNOspace Jahreskonferenzen gemeinsam mit den INNOspace-Netzwerken Space2Motion und Space2Agriculture durchgeführt. Die maximale Teilnehmendenzahl betrug dabei 150 bzw. 59. Bisher wurden 135 aus dem Netzwerk generierte Ergebnisse dokumentiert. Diese reichen von 41 verzeichneten Bedarfen und 60 Kontakten über 13 Themen zur Ausarbeitung und 5 aussichtsreichen Vorhaben bis hin zu 16 Projekten in der Umsetzung. Nur selten führt ein Austausch von Akteuren unterschiedlicher Branchen zu Kooperationen bei Wissens- und Technologietransfers. Es bedarf meist eines Mittlers, der den Austausch fördert, die Idee weiterverfolgt sowie ihr zur Umsetzung verhilft. Die Mitglieder nehmen Space2Health als Plattform für den branchenübergreifenden Austausch wahr, der ihnen neue Kooperationen ermöglicht und als Ort der Inspiration dient, an dem man sich über aktuelle Trends aus Raumfahrt und Gesundheit informierten kann. Es wurde deutlich, wie wichtig eine lange Laufzeit des Netzwerks ist: Mit zunehmender Dauer baut das Netzwerk Vertrauen zwischen den Akteuren beider Branchen auf, was sich u.a. darin äußert, dass die Mitgliedschaft für Viele zunehmend wichtiger wird. Dies ist positiv im Sinne der Kontinuität und der Nachhaltigkeit des Netzwerks.

The network comprises 167 players and 40 associated participants from the aerospace and healthcare sectors. The members are distributed as follows: 21% of network members are active in the Space sector, 61% are attributable to Health, and around 8% are already active in both sectors. 23 working group meetings were held at network members' premises or as virtual meetings. In addition, two INNOspace annual conferences were held together with the INNOspace networks Space2Motion and Space2Agriculture. The maximum number of participants was 150 and 59 respectively. To date, 135 results generated by the network have been documented. These range from 41 recorded needs and 60 contacts to 13 topics for development and 5 promising projects through to 16 projects in the implementation phase. Only rarely does an exchange between players from different sectors lead to cooperation in knowledge and technology transfer. What is usually needed is an intermediary who promotes the exchange, pursues the idea and helps it to be implemented. The members perceive Space2Health as a platform for cross-industry exchange, which enables new collaborations and serves as a place of inspiration where they can find out about current trends in space and health. It became clear how important a long duration of the network is: with increasing duration, the network builds trust between the players in both sectors, which is reflected, among other things, in the fact that membership becomes increasingly important for many. This is positive in terms of the continuity and sustainability of the network.
