Abstract

he collaborative project “EVoReso” aims to develop a novel drive system based on a resonance inverter topology, which offers significant advantages over a conventional topology due to its considerably less conspicuous electromagnetic interference characteristics. For this purpose, the generation of the phase current of an electric motor is achieved by using an adjustable capacitance in series with the motor inductance, forming an oscillating circuit with a significantly reduced switching frequency of the power electronics. The resulting reduction in the number of required switching actions to excite the operating‑point‑specific resonant circuit directly leads to a limitation of spectral power density to a substantially lower frequency range. The sub‑project “Implementation of a Test Environment, Investigation of the Emission Behavior” by EMC Test NRW GmbH focuses particularly on the integration of the subsystem components into a test environment and the assurance of reproducible results. A key element of this is the implementation of a suitable load machine that meets both technical and practical requirements.
