Schlussbericht des Verbundforschungsprojekts XR-Part: XR-Partizipationsräume zur erweiterten sozialen Teilhabe in urbanen Transformationsprozessen

Abstract

In dem Schlussbericht des XR-Part-Verbundforschungsprojektes wird abschließend die Zielstellung, der Projektverlauf sowie die erzielten Ergebnisse dargelegt. Im XR-Part-Projekt wurden XRPartizipationsanwendungen, bestehend aus einem virtuellen Beteiligungsraum mit begehbarem 3D-Modell sowie einer AR-Partizipartionsumgebung, in einem iterativen Prozess entwickelt und gemeinsam mit den Modellkommunen Mannheim und Rostock in realen Stadtentwicklungsprozessen erprobt. Begleitend wurde der Erprobungsprozess evaluiert, um daraus Erkenntnisse zu Weiterentwicklungserfordernissen, der Anwendungsfreundlichkeit der Anwendungen für Bürger:innen und Kommunen, ethische, rechtliche und soziale Implikationen von XR-Partizipation sowie Qualitätsstandards von XR-Partizipation abzuleiten. The final report of the XR-Part Joint Research Project summarizes the projects‘ goal, timeline and results. In the XR-Part project, XR participation tools, consisting of a virtual participation space with a walkable 3D model and an AR App, were developed and tested in real urban planning processes in the associated cities of Mannheim and Rostock. The tests were evaluated in order to gain insight into demands and perspectives for the further development, usability for citizens and public stakeholders as well as Ethical, Legal and Social Implications of XR participation.
