Abstract

The Gaia-X 4 Advanced Mobility Services (AMS) project is part of the “Gaia-X 4 Future Mobility” project family and focuses on the development of future mobility applications using the Gaia-X data and services ecosystem. Gaia-X-4 AMS addresses relevant aspects that are crucial for the implementation of use cases in the field of “connected and automated driving.” The goal is to define and implement a data and service landscape that describes the Gaia X data space for mobility. This includes both the data itself and the necessary data interfaces and basic services, such as security mechanisms, architecture, etc. Another central focus of the project is on the management of the underlying IT resources within the framework of capacity management. Furthermore, the goal is to design the data space based on the Gaia-X specifications in such a way that sector coupling will be possible seamlessly and efficiently. To this end, established technologies will be used, above all the International Data Space (IDS).

Continental is responsible for the sub-project: “Specification based on requirements analysis and hardware and software implementation of the overall system for environmental perception in the vehicle, as well as use and connection of collective vehicle data to the Gaia-X ecosystem.”
