Abstract
The collaborative project “EVoReso” aims to develop a novel drive system based on a resonance inverter topology, which offers significant advantages over a conventional topology due to its considerably less conspicuous electromagnetic interference characteristics. For this purpose, the generation of the phase current of an electric motor is achieved by using an adjustable capacitance in series with the motor inductance, forming an oscillating circuit with a significantly reduced switching frequency of the power electronics. The resulting reduction in the number of required switching actions to excite the operating‑point‑specific resonant circuit directly leads to a limitation of spectral power density to a substantially lower frequency range
