Abgrenzung und Erläuterung der Rohstoffsituation

Abstract

Die Versorgung der Glashütten mit natürlichen und synthetischen Rohstoffen ist heute nicht mehr auf Jahre hinaus sicherzustellen. Die Rohstoffbeschaffung, ihre Aufbereitung und Verhüttung muß z. Z. stark im Zusammenhang mit landesplanerischen Interessen und dem Emissionsschutz gesehen werden. Besondere Beachtung ist den synthetischen Rohstoffen zu widmen, da bei ihrer Herstellung stets mehrere Produkte anfallen, die in anderen chemischen Prozessen eingesetzt werden müssen oder als Abfallprodukte zu einer Umweltbelastung führen.

Limitations and description of the raw material situation. Nowadays the supplies of natural and synthetic raw materials to the glass industry can no longer be assured for many years. The winning, preparation and treating are now strongly influenced by considerations of land conservation and prevention of pollution. Special consideration must be given to synthetic raw materials because their preparation involves many byproducts which must be used in other chemical processes or which as wastes may lead to pollution.

Caractérisation et commentaire Dans les circonstances actuelles, l'approvisionnement des verreries en matières premières naturelles et synthétiques ne se trouve plus assurée pour des années. L'obtention des matières premières, leur préparation et leur traitement qui s'y rapportent doivent être envisagées en étroite liaison avec les milieux intéressés à l'aménagement du territoire et à la lutte contre la pollution. Il convient de porter un intérêt tout particulier aux matières premières synthétiques, dans la préparation desquelles interviennent de plus en plus de produits indispensables pour d'autres procédés chimiques ou dont les résidues contribuent ä une détérioration de l'environnement.
