FLEXIKING - Fortlaufende Anpassung von Lkw Abfertigungszeiten durch flexible künstliche Intelligenz

Abstract

Ziel des Projekts FLEXIKING war die Entwicklung eines flexiblen und kollaborativen Zeitfensterbuchungssystem, das eingebettet in und verknüpft mit vorhanden Softwarelösungen zur Systemsteuerung (Terminal Operating System auf Seiten des Terminals und Transport Management System in Fuhrunternehmen) die Bereitstellung von Abfertigungsfenstern an Terminals fortlaufend an aktuelle Rahmenbedingungen anpasst. Dabei soll das System sowohl die Interessen und Freiheitsgrade von Terminals als auch von Fuhrunternehmen berücksichtigen. Durch die einvernehmliche Verlegung von Zeitfenstern kann mit FLEXIKING flexibel auf geänderte Rahmenbedingungen - etwa bei Verspätungen von Zug- oder Schiffsankünften - reagiert werden. Das flexible und kollaborative Zeitfensterbuchungssystem unterstützt so Terminals dabei, Lastspitzen zu vermeiden und die Auslastung des Equipments zu optimieren. Fuhrunternehmen profitieren durch verkürzte Wartezeiten, Vermeidung von Leer-Fahrten und eine gleichmäßigere Abwicklung der Transporte. The goal of the FLEXIKING project was to develop a flexible and collaborative time slot booking system that, embedded in and linked to existing software solutions for system control (Terminal Operating System at the terminal and Transport Management System at the trucking company), continuously adapts the allocation of handling slots at terminals to current conditions. In doing so, the system is designed to take into account the interests and degrees of freedom of both terminals and trucking companies. Through the mutually agreed rescheduling of time slots, FLEXIKING enables a flexible response to changing conditions - such as delays in train or ship arrivals. This flexible and collaborative time slot booking system thus helps terminals avoid peak loads and optimize equipment utilization. Haulage companies benefit from reduced waiting times, the avoidance of empty runs, and a more even flow of transport operations
