AMISIA - Advanced Port Maintenance: Intelligent, Sustainable, Innovative and Automated Dredging

Abstract

Das Projekt AMISIA verfolgte das Ziel, die Unterhaltungsbaggerung im Emder Hafen unter Einsatz innovativer Technologien und automatisierter Systeme produktiver und umweltfreundlicher zu gestalten. Hierfür wurde ein Baggerschiff in Kombination mit einem zukunftsfähigen Baggereinsatzkonzept entwickelt. Der Einsatz einer digitalisierten Navigation sowie automatisierter Systeme versprechen sichere Einsätze im Hafen. Durch das in AMISIA konzipierte Baggerschiff soll die Wirtschaftlichkeit der Hafenunterhaltung durch eine weitgehende Automatisierung nachhaltig gestärkt werden. Die Konzepte wurden im Emder Hafen mit Hilfe der eMIR Technologieentwicklungsplattform erprobt und validiert. The AMISIA project aimed to make maintenance dredging in Emden harbour more productive and environmentally friendly by using innovative technologies and automated systems. To this end, a dredging vessel was developed in combination with a sustainable dredging concept. The use of digitalised navigation and automated systems promises safe operations in the port. The dredging vessel designed in AMISIA is intended to sustainably improve the efficiency of harbour maintenance through extensive automation. The concepts were tested and validated in the port of Emden with the help of the eMIR technology development platform.
