Leached antireflection surfaces Part 4. Proposed model for the neutral solution process

Abstract

A proposed mechanism for the leaching process is given which centers on the effects of Al3+ adsorption from solution onto the glass surface. The mechanism is feit to be applicable to the behavior of a number of polyvalent metal cations known to strongly influence the aqueous corrosion of glass.
