Verbundvorhaben Gaia-X 4 KI: Daten- und Dienste-Ökosystem für KI-orientierte Forschung & Entwicklung; Ein Projekt der Gaia-X 4 Future Mobility Projektfamilie

Abstract

Gaia-X, zur Förderung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit, Nachhaltigkeit und Resilienz, basiert auf einer Reihe etablierter Initiativen. Diese umfassen das "GAIA-X 4 Future Mobility" Projekt, die KI-Plattform des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF), die KI-Projektfamilie des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi), die PEGASUS-Family und die Helmholtz-Initiativen HIFIS und HAICU. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Förderung eines multilateralen Datenaustausches und der Entwicklung digitaler Lösungen, die darauf abzielen, technische und wirtschaftliche Hindernisse zu überwinden. Im Rahmen des Projektes GAIA-X4KI übernimmt die T-Systems die Mitarbeit und Steuerung von Teilprojekten mit speziellen Schwerpunkten in den sich entwickelnden Bereichen Datenraum und Daten-Ökosystem. Die Hauptaufgabe der T-Systems in diesen Bereichen bestand darin, ein solides Fundament für den zu entwickelnden Datenraum zu schaffen und dabei die erforderlichen Grundlagen und Fachdienste gemäß der Vorhabenbeschreibung für GAIA-X 4 KI zu entwickeln. Die Planung und der Ablauf des Vorhabens GAIA-X 4 KI wurden in drei wesentliche Meilensteine gegliedert: Grundlagenarbeiten, Technische Pilotierung sowie Proof of Concept und Demonstration. Als Ergebnis wurde ein Demonstrator für den Minimal Mobility Data Space sowie ein zugehöriges Benutzerinterface entwickelt, das nicht nur die Integration erleichtert, sondern auch die Aufrechterhaltung der Gaia-X Compliance gewährleistet und den Betrieb eines Gaia-X Digital Clearing House Node unterstützt. Durch die Demonstration des praktischen Nutzens, der Benutzerfreundlichkeit und der Einfachheit der Projektergebnisse können potenzielle Nutzer auf Messen und Konferenzen die Vorteile des Datenraums und der Gaia-X-Initiative besser verstehen und schätzen lernen. The focus is on promoting multilateral data exchange and the development of digital solutions aimed at overcoming technical and economic barriers. As part of the GAIA-X4KI project, T-Systems is taking on the collaboration and management of sub-projects with a special focus on the developing areas of data space and data ecosystem. T-Systems' main task in these areas was to create a solid foundation for the data room to be implemented and to develop the necessary foundations and specialist services in accordance with the project description for GAIA-X 4 KI. The planning and progress of the GAIA-X 4 KI project were divided into three main milestones: Basic work, technical piloting and proof of concept and demonstration. As a result, a demonstrator for the Minimal Mobility Data Space and an associated user interface were developed that not only facilitates integration, but also ensures the maintenance of Gaia-X compliance and supports the operation of a Gaia-X Digital Clearing House Node. By demonstrating the practical benefits, user-friendliness and simplicity of the project results, potential users can better understand and appreciate the advantages of the data room and the Gaia-X initiative at trade fairs and conferences.
