GAIA-X 4 moveID: Dezentrale digitale Fahrzeugidentitäten in der hochvernetzten Verkehrsumgebung - Partnerspezifischer Schlussbericht AUMOVIO Germany GmbH

Abstract

Die AUMOVIO Germany GmbH (vormals Continental Automotive Technologies GmbH) übernahm im Rahmen des Förderprojekts Gaia-X 4 moveID eine zentrale Rolle bei der Entwicklung und Implementierung eines dezentralen Identitätsökosystems für den Mobilitätssektor, wobei die Aufgabenstellung in ihrer Komplexität und ihrem Umfang weit über vergleichbare Forschungsvorhaben hinausging und eine Vielzahl interdisziplinärer Herausforderungen umfasste. Im Zentrum der Aufgabenstellung stand die Konzeption, Entwicklung und prototypische Implementierung von Mechanismen zur sicheren und datenschutzkonformen Erfassung, Verwaltung und Bereitstellung von Fahrzeugdaten in einem föderierten Datenraum, der auf den Prinzipien der Gaia-X-Initiative basiert und somit europäische Souveränität im Datenbereich gewährleisten soll. AUMOVIO Germany GmbH (formerly Continental Automotive Technologies GmbH) played a central role in the development and implementation of a decentralized identity ecosystem for the mobility sector within the Gaia-X 4 moveID funding project. The complexity and scope of the task far exceeded comparable research projects and encompassed a multitude of interdisciplinary challenges. At its core was the conception, development, and prototypical implementation of mechanisms for the secure and data protection-compliant collection, management, and provision of vehicle data in a federated data space based on the principles of the Gaia-X initiative, thus ensuring European data sovereignty.
