Schlussbericht heiEDUCATION 2.1 (Teilvorhaben Universität Heidelberg) in der "Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung"

Abstract

Der Bericht skizziert die Umsetzung des Verbundprojekts „heiEDUCATION 2.1 – Gemeinsam weiter! Heidelberger Lehrerbildung für das 21. Jahrhundert“ in der Projektlaufzeit vom 01.01.2019 bis zum 31.12.2023. Während in der ersten Förderphase der „Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung“ mit dem Projekt „heiEDUCATION – Gemeinsam besser! Exzellente Lehrerbildung in Heidelberg“ bis Ende 2018 der Aufbau Heidelberg School of Education (HSE) als hochschulübergreifende Einrichtung zwischen Pädagogischer Hochschule Heidelberg und Universität Heidelberg im Fokus stand, lag das Hauptaugenmerk bei heiEDUCATION 2.1 in der Weiterentwicklung bzw. dem Ausbau des Erreichten im Sinne nachhaltiger Erfolge: (1) die Optimierung von Serviceleistungen für Studierende mit dem Berufsziel Lehrer:in durch innovative Formate (Teilprojekt „Beraten und Begleiten“); (2) die wissenschaftliche Qualität der Lehrer:innenbildung in ihren Teildisziplinen im Zuge von hochschulübergreifenden Projekten stärken – mit Digitalisierung und Internationalisierung als wichtigen Querschnittsthemen (Teilprojekt „Forschen und Fördern“); (3) der Ausbau lehramtsspezifischer Kommunikationsangebote im Projektkontext (Teilprojekt „Vermitteln und Verbreiten“). Im Zuge des Projekts konnten nicht nur diese Ziele erreicht werden, sondern es gelang auch, die HSE als innovatives Organisationsmodell der Kooperation zweier Hochschultypen – eine baden-württembergische Besonderheit – in der Lehrkräftebildung zu profilieren und ihren Wirkungsgrad zu erhöhen. Maßgeblich begleitet wurde das Projekt von zwei Faktoren, der Coronapandemie (2020 bis 2022) und dem teils dadurch bedingten komplexen Bewerber:innen-Markt (v. a. 2021 bis 2023). Auf beide Herausforderungen gelang es trotz Auswirkungen auf den Projektverlauf sehr gut zu reagieren und ein Großteil der genannten Maßnahmen im Verbundprojekt entwickelte sich dabei mit den nötigen Justierungen von 2021 bis 2023 so gut, dass sie vom Land Baden-Württemberg ab 2024 verstetigt wurden. Exzellente Lehrerbildung in Heidelberg’ focused on establishing the Heidelberg School of Education (HSE) as a joint institution between the Heidelberg University of Education and Heidelberg University until the end of 2018, the main objective of heiEDUCATION 2.1 was the further development and expansion of what had been achieved to ensure sustainable success: (1) the optimisation of services for students with the career goal of becoming teachers through innovative formats (sub-project “Advising and Supporting”); (2) strengthening the scientific quality of teacher education in its individual disciplines in the course of cross-university projects - with digitalisation and internationalisation as important cross-sectional topics (sub-project “Research and Support”); (3) the expansion of teaching-specific communication services in the project context (sub-project “Communicating and Disseminating”). Not only were these goals achieved in the course of the project, but the HSE was also able to distinguish itself as an innovative organisational model of cooperation between two types of universities – a special feature of Baden-Württemberg – in teacher training and increase its effectiveness. The project was significantly affected by two factors: the coronavirus pandemic (2020 to 2022) and the partly resulting complex applicant market (especially 2021 to 2023). Despite their effects on the course of the project, it was possible to respond very well to both challenges and the majority of the measures, with the necessary adjustments from 2021 to 2023, mentioned in the joint project developed to such an extent that they were consolidated by the state of Baden-Württemberg from 2024.
