Abstract

Glass pressing experiments using profiled press plungers were used to investigate the thermal and geometrical contact behaviour. From calculation of the heat flux density over the surface of contact and the heat released to the mould, a clear dependence of heat transfer conditions on the type of profile can be demonstrated.

Des essais de pressage de verre à l'aide de poinçons profilés permettent d'étudier les conditions thermiques et géométriques du contact. En calculant la densité du flux thermique à la surface de contact et la cession de chaleur au moule, on peut établir une nette relation entre les conditions de transfert de chaleur et la conformation du profil du poinçon.

Glaspreßversuche mit profilierten Preßstempeln dienten zur Untersuchung des thermischen und geometrischen Kontaktverhaltens. Über eine Berechnung der Wärmestromdichte in der Kontaktfläche bzw. der Wärmeabgabe an die Form konnte eine eindeutige Abhängigkeit der Wärmeübergangsbedingungen von der Profilgestaltung nachgewiesen werden.
