HELPMI: HElmholtz Laser-Plasma Metadata Initiative

Abstract

HELPMI was an initiative project funded within the HMC framework to start the development of a data standard for experimental data in the field of high-intensity laser-plasma interactions. It has started adopting an existing, extensible standard from a different scientific domain and has along begun creating an extensible standard for simulation data in the above-named research field. A glossary for this research domain has also been drafted.
