Abstract
This report intends to present the final summary of the findings of the project, presenting the main contributions of our research to the consortium and to the project. During the setup phase, the project faced a number of constraints: two partners not being able to be funded and the third one with a strong delay to start. The analysis was adapted for our Indian Pilot, reflecting the expected challenges and the potential of the pilot site. Practical choices were necessary, such as the use of a standardized questionnaire for building owners, the focus on adapting strategies to the local context, and the documentation of socioeconomic background by extensive background analyses, enriching the evaluation with qualitative insights. The evaluation of the FinSESCo platform was performed by including a variety of methodologies aimed at capturing its performance across different dimensions. These included qualitative interviews, surveys, and detailed case studies for each pilot, supported by quantitative analysis to identify drivers of acceptance. A comparative cross-pilot approach was used in order to develop EU-level insights, ensuring findings are relevant across different contexts. In this report we will present the main findings from the different evaluation processes. Overall, this review shows actionable recommendations to advance the platform's usability and scalability, and better alignment with local needs, while showcasing its potential to address barriers in energy efficiency investments across Europe.
