Verbund-Projekt "EnEff:Stadt: Urban Factory 2 - Ressourceneffiziente Stadtquartiere durch urbane Produktion"; Teilvorhaben 4: Aktivierung aus Sicht einer Wirtschaftsförderung

Abstract

Das Projekt Urban Factory II verfolgt das Ziel, innovative und nachhaltige Ansätze zur Standortentwicklung zu erarbeiten und die urbane Lebensqualität zu steigern. Die Wolfsburg AG verantwortete das Teilvorhaben TV4, das auf die Attraktivierung Wolfsburgs durch die Integration wirtschaftlicher und kommunaler Interessen fokussiert war. Im Rahmen des Projekts wurden Fortschritte in der nachhaltigen Entwicklung urbaner Produktionsstandorte erzielt. Ein interdisziplinärer und partizipativer Ansatz ermöglichte die Erarbeitung innovativer Maßnahmen, darunter die Förderung von Biodiversität und urbanem Grün im Quartier Sandkamp. Das Projekt basierte auf einem interdisziplinären und partizipativen Forschungsansatz, der eine enge Kooperation zwischen wissenschaftlichen Institutionen, lokalen Akteuren und der Industrie vorsah. Das zentrale methodische Instrument war der "Runde Tisch", welcher als Plattform für gleichberechtigte Verhandlungen und die Entwicklung tragfähiger Maßnahmen diente. Es wurden drei potenzielle Entwicklungsgebiete in Wolfsburg evaluiert, wobei der Stadtteil Sandkamp aufgrund hoher Synergiepotenziale priorisiert wurde. Mit dem "Runden Tisch" wurde ein Netzwerk im Quartier Sandkamp geschaffen, welches sich auch zukünftig im Spannungsfeld von urbanen Produktionsstätten und Wohngebieten austauschen kann. Es wurden sieben nachhaltige Maßnahmen zum Ankerthema "Biodiversität, Stadtgrün und Klima" identifiziert und deren Umsetzung vorbereitet. Zudem wurden drei Ansätze für Geschäftsmodelle entwickelt, dessen Realisierung externe Finanzierung und politische Unterstützung erfordert. Trotz begrenzter Ressourcen und wirtschaftspolitischer Unsicherheiten lieferte das Projekt substanzielle Beiträge zur nachhaltigen Standortentwicklung. The Urban Factory II project aims to develop innovative and sustainable approaches to location development and improve the quality of urban life. Wolfsburg AG was responsible for the TV4 sub-project, which focused on making Wolfsburg more attractive by integrating economic and municipal interests. As part of the project, progress was made in the sustainable development of urban production sites. Despite limited resources and economic policy uncertainties, the project made substantial contributions to sustainable location development. The participatory approach and long-term networking provide a sustainable basis for future cooperation and the implementation of measures.
