Konsortialschlussbericht Verbundvorhaben 5G4BP - 5G for business parks

Abstract

Konsortialschlussbericht in erster Linie zu den Arbeiten der beiden deutschen Projektpartner Xelera Technologies GmbH und highstreet technologies GmbH im Projekt 5G4BP- 5G For Business Parks. In diesem Projekt wurde ein Demonstrator für private 5G-Campusnetze speziell für mittelständische Unternehmen in Gewerbegebieten entwickelt. Die Arbeiten der französischen Projektpartner werden in dem vorliegenden Bericht nur insoweit skizziert, wie sie sich auf die Arbeiten des deutschen Teilkonsortiums auswirken. Der Bericht ist untergliedert in eine Kurzdarstellung und in eine Eingehende Darstellung. Beide Darstellungen sind anhand der Aufgabenstellung des Projektes unterstrukturiert:

Identifikation der 5G-Anwendungen der Unternehmen in den Gewerbeparks und Ableitung der daraus resultierenden Anforderungen an das 5G-Campusnetz Bautechnische Begehung und Funknetzplanung für einen ausgewählten Gewerbepark Entwurf der Netzarchitektur und Implementierung der Netzkomponenten in Open RAN-Technologie Integration der Netzkomponenten und Installation im ausgewählten Gewerbepark Implementierung der Anwendungsfälle zusammen mit den interessierten Unternehmen des Gewerbeparks Publikation der Projektergebnisse

In dem Bericht werden sowohl die erreichten Projektergebnisse als auch die nicht erreichten Projektziele beschrieben sowie anhand des Projektablaufs die Gründe für das Nichterreichen bzw. die Änderung der Projektziele. Consortium final report primarily on the work of the two German project partners Xelera Technologies GmbH and highstreet technologies GmbH in the 5G4BP- 5G For Business Parks project. In this project, a demonstrator for private 5G campus networks was developed specifically for medium-sized companies in business parks. The work of the French project partners is only outlined in this report insofar as it affects the work of the German sub-consortium. The report is divided into a brief overview and a detailed description. Both sections are subdivided according to the project's objectives:

Identification of the 5G applications used by companies in the business parks and derivation of the resulting requirements for the 5G campus network Technical site survey and radio network planning for a selected business park Design of network architecture and implementation of network components using Open RAN technology Integration of network components and installation in the selected business park Implementation of use cases together with interested companies in the business park Dissemination of project results

The report describes both the project results achieved and the project objectives not achieved, and explains the reasons for not achieving or changing the project objectives based on the course of the project
