BRIDGES - Brücken bauen. Zusammenarbeit initiieren und gestalten | Förderphase 2

Abstract

Mit dem Projekt "BRIDGES | Förderphase 2" verfolgte die Universität Vechta das Ziel, die durch das erste Bridges-Projekt geschaffenen Strukturen zu nutzen, um die Qualität der Lehrerbildung langfristig und insbesondere im Hinblick auf aktuelle bildungspolitische Aufgaben zu stärken. Dazu wurden in Projektbaustein 1 die neuen inneruniversitären Strukturen sowie die Vernetzung mit externen Partner:innen ausgebaut und gestärkt und die neuen Angebote in den Bereichen Inklusion und Selbstreflexion weiterentwickelt und erweitert, u.a. durch die Entwicklung und Durchführung von hochschuldidaktischen Angeboten (als Teil des niedersächsischen Zertifikats für Hochschuldidaktik) und Lehrer:innenfortbildungen ("Fortbildung Inklusion"). Zudem zeigte sich, dass die in BRIDGES 1 geschaffenen Strukturen geeignet waren, um sich einer weiteren gesellschaftlichen Herausforderung forschungsbasiert zu stellen, nämlich der Befähigung zum kompetenten und verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit digitalen Medien als einer der wichtigsten aktuellen und zukünftigen Aufgaben von Bildungsprozessen (s. z.B. "Digitalen Agenda 2014-2017" der Bundesregierung). Mit dem Projektbaustein 2 "Werkstatt Digitalisierung" wurde fächerübergreifend und praxisorientiert ein weiteres bildungspolitisch relevantes Querschnittsthema erschlossen. Acht Fächer erforschten gemeinsam den Einsatz digitaler Medien im Unterricht (u.a. im Rahmen von Promotionsprojekten) und erprobten, überprüften und förderten die didaktische Einbettung, Implementation sowie Reichweite für eine heterogen Schüler:innenschaft. Projektbaustein 3 baute das in der ersten Förderphase entstandene ePortfolio-Tool aus, weitete es auf weitere Module im Bachelor und Master of Education aus und entwickelte ein Schulungs- und Betreuungssystem. Durch die Integration des Tools in den Kern des Lern- und Campusmanagementsystems Stud.IP steht das ePortfolios nun für alle universitären Standorte zur Verfügung. Insgesamt wurde mit dem Projekt BRIDGES | 2. Förderphase eine weitere Profilierung und Optimierung der Strukturen an der Universität Vechta erreicht, und es konnten drängende, aktuelle bildungspolitische Herausforderungen in den Bereichen Inklusion und Digitalisierung adressiert werden. Datei-Upload durch TIB With the "BRIDGES | Funding Phase 2" project, the University of Vechta pursued the goal of utilising the structures created by the first BRIDGES project to strengthen the quality of teacher training in the long term and in particular with regard to current educational policy tasks. To this end, the new internal university structures and networking with external partners were expanded and strengthened in project module 1 and the new programmes in the areas of inclusion and self-reflection were further developed and expanded, including through the development and implementation of higher education didactics programmes (as part of the Lower Saxony certificate for higher education didactics) and teacher training ("Further training in inclusion"). It also became apparent that the structures created in BRIDGES 1 were suitable for research-based approaches to another social challenge, namely the ability to use digital media competently and responsibly as one of the most important current and future tasks of educational processes (see, for example, the German government's "Digital Agenda 2014-2017"). With project module 2 "Werkstatt Digitalisierung", another cross-sectional topic relevant to education policy was developed in an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented manner. Eight subjects jointly researched the use of digital media in teaching (e.g. as part of doctoral projects) and tested, reviewed and promoted the didactic embedding, implementation and reach for a heterogeneous student body. Project module 3 expanded the ePortfolio tool created in the first funding phase, extended it to other modules in the Bachelor and Master of Education programmes and developed a training and support system. By integrating the tool into the core of the Stud.IP LMS, the ePortfolio is now available at every university using Stud.IP. Overall, "BRIDGES | 2nd funding phase" has further raised the profile and optimised the structures at the University of Vechta. Urgent, current educational policy challenges in the areas of inclusion and digitalisation could be addressed.
