Abstract

Das Projekt ContamInsect befasst sich mit der Nutzung von Insekten als proteinreiche Lebens- und Futtermittelquelle in afrikanischen Ländern, insbesondere in Kenia. Im Fokus steht die Untersuchung der Sicherheit und Effizienz der Insektennutzung, wobei spezielle Aufmerksamkeit auf die Kontamina-tionsrisiken durch Mykotoxine, polychlorierte Dibenzo-p-dioxine und Dibenzofurane (PCDD/F), Poly-chlorierte Biphenyle (PCB) und Polyzyklische Aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe (PAK) gelegt wird.
